                Golden Wit

          Elepidote - without scales e.g.arboreum, fortunei, Vulcan

          Lepidote - scurfy - with minute scales on leaves

          Truss - a single rachis (i.e. all flowers coming from one

                 bud)

          Spray - multi stems emerging from a single stem.  Height is
